The mural was painted in Boughham Lane Kings Cross as part of a community mural project for Vinnies NSW.
I named this mural The Living City because it represents the meandering path that link the people and places of Kings Cross and Woolloomooloo, while the colour palette echoes the electricity charging through the streets. The characters of this place are reflected by the artwork’s motifs and creatures that thrive in the community. This for me is the heart of the precinct – with so many walks of life coming together to coexist in a beautiful part of the world. It doesn’t matter where you come from or who you are, we are all drawn to this thriving hub to share the vibrant, communicable space
